My classroom.

My classroom.

I just want to brag a little, because we're taught that we're not supposed to and I think we should be proud of our accomplishments!!! Today I had my first day of class in my coaching program, and it also marks 18 months clean and sober!!  I didn't realize that the two events fell on the same day until yesterday, but how cool that my new life coincides with my new life.  ;-)

April 20 marks my 2 year anniversary of moving to Grand Cayman.  I was miserable and living in Seattle, working 7 days a week (which actually worked out because I was saving so much money!!), I was 33 years old and felt like my life was just at a stand still.  I had an opportunity to move to the island and thank God I still drank then because one tipsy night I made a decision to sell everything I owned and move 3,000 miles away.  I knew two people, didn't have a job, and didn't have a plan B.  I knew that what was ahead of me HAD to be better than what I was living.  So as they say, I jumped and my net appeared.  I'm the happiest I've ever been, in the best shape of my life mentally, physically and spiritually, am training as a coach and yoga instructor, travel around the world, and spend my days thanking The Universe that I had the guts to step into my power and change my life.

I hope all of you know how powerful you really are, or find a way to uncover that truth.  I hope that you can find your voice, know that you're worth it, that life is meant to be LIVED, and not merely to just get by.  I hope you know that the Universe rewards those that give it their all, and I hope that you find your Tribe that supports you and pushes you to go for it.
