Gratitude

"When we are grateful for what we have, we raise our energetic vibration...Gratitude is an integral part of the miracle mindset and will have a profound impact on your energy." ~May Cause Miracles

I absolutely LOVED the affirmation today...I release all littleness, all limiting beliefs.  I choose gratitude instead.

Littleness.  It's so easy to play small, to listen to the little voice in our head that tells us we can't have what we want.  We're not good enough, we're not smart enough, we don't have the energy, the money, the time, the support.

"I am willing to let go of my old limiting beliefs and let love enter in...Our fear-based minds believe that change is tough and self-reflective work is difficult." ~May Cause Miracles

It takes so much work to live in that dark cloud of fear.  And it's so exhausting!!  We just think it's easier because it's familiar.  Start to think about your life and how you're living if you've been struggling for a while.  Obviously what you're doing now isn't working, or else you'd be dancing around with rainbows shooting out of your ass.

Whatever It Takes

SURRENDER: to give up, abandon, or relinquish (comfort, hope, etc.).  To give (oneself) up to some influence, course, emotion, etc.

"When you become willing to change, you surrender to a greater perception, a loving perception...When you let go, your surrender will crack open your connection to your Inner Guide." ~May Cause Miracles

Just Like Happiness, Fear is a Choice

I, like so many people, get paralyzed by fear.  I play the 'what if' game.

What if it doesn't work out?

What if I hate it?  What if I get dumped?  What if I say the wrong thing?

This last week has been pretty rough, to say the least.  I shattered my wrist after a fall, which required a three-night hospital stay and surgery that left me with a plate and seven screws.  OUCH!

Something I've Never Done

Here's some cool networking for you!! When I worked as a hairstylist in Seattle, I was forced to send free haircut cards to the community to build my clientele. I thought about what kind of clients I wanted and sent cards to personal coaches. A lovely lady named Stacy Duhon was not only the only coach that used her voucher, but in return she offered me an hour of her services!! How cool is THAT?!

So in 2010 we talked for an hour about how unhappy I was, moving to Maui vs San Diego, and how to start making changes. I wasn't in the position at the time to hire Stacy, but just that ONE HOUR of talking got the wheels turning in my head.

DREAM BIGGER!!

Here we go...2015!!!

Goals.  Intentions.  Dreams.  Resolutions.  Whatever you need to call them to get them done. Write them down and make them happen!

Maybe if I share some of mine, you'll share some of yours and we can hold each other accountable.  And you can get an idea of what I mean by DREAM BIGGER.

Your Life Does Not Get Better By Chance...

Let me just preface this entire entry with, THIS IS WHAT HAS WORKED FOR ME AND IT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU.  It's like Alcoholics Anonymous (and life in general), just take what you like and leave the rest.  Take what resonates with you, what you connect with and leave the rest behind. I am sharing with you what has helped ME transform MY body in a few months time.

If you had no excuses, what would you be doing right now?

People have asked me why I moved to Grand Cayman?  What prompted such a drastic change?  How did you do it?  Here are some answers...

If you had no excuses, what would you be doing right now?

That was my running theme as I wrapped up 2013.  I put it on my calendar so I saw it every day on my phone.  No excuses.  Just dreams.  And who would have known that my dreams would have led me to where I am now.
